Front-end Developer

MAIN PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE JOB

  • Design, Development, and Maintenance of High Performance Web Applications to power client-facing Blockchain solutions.
  • Work with a team of Front End Developers to develop reusable React components to be used across our web applications.
  • Prototype Original User Interfaces and UX Workflows for client and developer-facing products.
 

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • MSc or BSc in Computer Science or related discipline.
  • Well versed in writing clean, and idiomatic code with an emphasis on testing, and maintainability.
  • In-depth knowledge of:
  • React, Redux, JavaScript (ES6), Node.
  • HTML5 and SVG. We'll be making lots of shapes.
  • Responsive Web Design. CSS Grid and Flexbox are part of your toolbox.
  • CSS & JavaScript Animation (GSAP), you're aware of the pros and cons of each. The GPU is our best friend, when used correctly.
  • Tooling to improve development workflows: ESLint, Babel, Flow, etc. You keep upto date with all the new features.
  • WebSockets and REST. Perhaps even GraphQL.
  • Git. Expect to talk about and be proud of your biggest Git disaster!
 

Ideal additional knowledge:

  • WebGL

  • Python (>= 3.6) or other backend technologies.

  • Containerisation and Deployment.

  • Content Delivery Networks.

  • Cloud Hosting Environments.

 
 

Back-end Developer

MAIN PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE JOB

  • Develop and maintain Qadre’s blockchain framework. This will include.

    • Requirements gathering and design of new features.

    • Building high performance, distributed systems using Python 3.6/Asyncio

    • Ensure code is tested and proven correct using Test Driven Development

    • Write and maintain operational documentation and tutorials

    • Plan and Execute strategies for Cloud based deployments

  • Build internal tooling for the deployment and analysis of deployed technologies.

  • Assist other developers building solutions on the framework.

 

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • MSc or BSc in Computer Science or related discipline/experience.

  • Well versed in writing clean and idiomatic code with an emphasis on testing, and maintainability.

  • In-depth knowledge of:

    • Python 3.6 and asyncio

    • Unix Environments (you should be able to operate from the terminal)

    • TDD (py.test, tox)

    • ZMQ, WebSockets, HTTP 1.1 and 2.

    • TCP/UDP Socket Programming with I/O polling

    • SQL (Preference on Sqlite3 and PostgreSQL, beyond basic SQL)

    • Git (You should be able to resolve conflicts without a GUI)

    • Symmetric and Asymmetric Cryptography, Block Ciphers

    • Docker

 

Ideal additional knowledge:

  • Deployment tooling (SaltStack)

  • Cloud Computing (AWS, DigitalOcean, Google Compute Engine)

  • Distributed Networking

  • Computer Consensus Algorithms

  • Containerisation and Deployment.

Marketing Manager 

MAIN PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE JOB

  • Provide go-to-market creative strategy and support through proposition-development, segmentation, and insight creation.

  • Work closely with the sales and product team to ensure alignment of the company's message and proposition, both internally and externally.

  • Work collaboratively across the business, taking on sometimes ambiguous questions and turning them into marketing strategy.

  • Create timely, relevant, and unique content across multiple channels.

  • Creating and implementing marketing tactics to handle and multiply growth – an incremental part of this role.

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2 - 4 years commercial experience

  • Previous start-up / scale-up experience

  • Confident in content creation and management

  • Impressive writer and social media know-how

  • Website management

 

Ideal additional knowledge:

  • SEO, design, or PPC experience

  • Worked in the tech industry

This role is ideal for someone who is looking for the next step to grow from supporting to owning a full marketing strategy.

 

 

Operations & Accounting Assistant 

This role will require an individual who is open to learning new skills and general support of the wider office. Although this is primarily a role based around accounting and bookkeeping you will also be required to support new staff with onboarding and the general maintenance of office infrastructure.

The accounting side of the role will include:

  • Purchase Ledger including: invoices, credits, payments

  • Payment: Bank & transfers

  • Bank Reconciliation including; payroll, pensions – NEST, VAT returns, HMRC queries, up to date accounts information  

  • Reviewing and consolidating timesheet information

 

Operational Support:

  • Onboarding new members of staff on company platforms

  • Develop and maintain onboarding material

  • Maintenance of office equipment

Expertise:

  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written

  • The ability to cope with the pressure of deadlines

  • A willingness to build and maintain positive team collaboration

  • Ability to resolve challenges with positive solutions

  • Attention to detail
