Nick has a career spanning everything from Fintech for Hedge Funds, to Playing Professional Poker. He led the Product & Operations of Ring Games for PokerStars, the largest global real-money online poker product. Nick has since become a blockchain champion, founding Credits and contributing to numerous open-source projects. Credits built and launched the first government service in the world running on blockchain, was the first blockchain technology provider in the UK Government’s G-Cloud Marketplace, and was named Blockchain Startup of the Year in the 2016 Europas.
Laura is a leading entrepreneur in the field of blockchain technology and a trailblazer for women in fintech. She has co-founded three successful blockchain ventures, is Spokesperson for the British Blockchain Association and is currently developing Qadre into a global technology leader - working with UK parliament, industry, and regulators alike to drive policy and cultural changes to technology. Laura is a regular speaker in domestic and international governments, regulators, and NGOs, promoting technology for good. Laura has an extensive background in finance and began her career at HSBC across a variety of areas, including Leveraged Finance, Marketing, and Corporate Banking.
Imogen most recently co-founded blockchain consultancy Zerado, alongside providing an executive lead for projects and operations for its subsidiary company Disberse. Previously, she project managed the world’s first significant financial blockchain project, authored a report for the Welsh Government’s Financial & Professional Service sector, influencing huge investment into the region, and led operations and projects as part of the senior leadership team at Ariadne Capital. Imogen additionally provides digital strategy advisory at board-level to several NGOs.
Ashley Kemball-Cook is Head of Business Development for Qadre, a blockchain product development company with products in a number of sectors including: supply chain management, anti-counterfeiting, and identity. Ashley is an Advisor to Disberse, a blockchain enabled fund management platform for humanitarian aid. Using blockchain it drives the transparent, efficient, and effective flow of humanitarian aid funds. Ashley has worked on blockchain projects with industry leaders across finance, energy, healthcare, Magic Circle Law Firms, and UK regulators.
Lucie is a Trinity College Dublin Law graduate and a blockchain advocate. She has extensive international technology experience through her work with consulting, innovation groups and cybersecurity companies. Lucie has worked in the Philippines, Geneva, Dublin, Hong Kong and now London. Lucie combines her legal skills with her passion for emerging technologies to lead Qadre’s work on regulation and business development.
Daniel is a recent LSE graduate with notable experience in both city think-tanks (Z/Yen & CSFI), large banks (HSBC & Commerzbank AG). He has an underlying passion for innovation and technology, first apparent after an internship at Z/Yen, which has compelled him to work in the start-up/blockchain space. The disruptive nature of blockchain excites him and he want to help shape some of the business applications of blockchain in a variety of industries.
Andrew comes from a Finance background spanning nearly ten years in banking across a number of roles, including Commodity & Structured Trade Finance, Strategy, Project Management, Commercial Banking and Retail Banking and more recently driving blockchain engagement with corporates involved in Trade Finance. Andrew joins Qadre to further enhance our commercial proposition and apply his broad experience from his previous roles across a diverse range of industries and sectors.
David is the Technical Lead at Qadre. Originally working at Credits as a developer, he now heads the engineering department at Qadre and provides architectural oversight of Qadre’s technologies including their flagship product, Plug. David’s previous experience includes working in a variety of fields including Online Payments, Aeronautics, Virtual/Augmented Reality, and Mobile Biometrics.
Daniel previously designed and built high performance services to allow digital video broadcasting, distribution and monetization of streaming entertainment content in a multi-tenanted B2B Video-on-Demand platform. Before that he gained experience designing and building in-house solutions, including user management, payment calculation, and contract verification systems for a nationwide D2D sales business in Australia.
Michael's experience comes from the Fintech sector having previously automated many algorithmic and high frequency trading (HFT) strategies for hedge-funds and financial institutions. Michael has worked with big data and used behavioural science to study the biological impacts on market conditions via social, political and economic trends. Michael wants to empower digital voting to the younger generation using blockchain technology.
Mihai's experience comes from both multinational corporations and startups. He developed a large variety of internal tools and platforms for different business sectors like chip manufacturing, test automation, cloud services and energy storage. His latest project involved IOT technologies, data processing and visualisation and dev-ops related activities. In his spare time he tries to put together the software skills and passion for hardware by building small home automation applications.
Aitor is a software developer with passion for design and new technologies. Prior to Qadre, his experience in the last decade has been gained working in financial institution and building reliable games in one of the world’s leading online gaming operators.
Nuno has worked with NGOs in Timor-Leste mainly designing and developing custom web apps to aid the country to overcome its economic impairments. While in Asia Nuno helped on the prep of the TEDX Dili. Nuno also has experience delivering tailored websites for a wide range of small-mid businesses and more recently he has been studying design and development for mobile devices.

Nosheen comes from a Technology focused recruitment agency background. Working with Global Consultancies, Financial Institutions to FinTech organisations across the UK, Nosheen has consulted and helped build teams specialising in DevOps, Cloud and Development. With an avid interest in Blockchain and a strong understanding in building technical teams Nosheen leads the Recruitment and HR processes for Qadre.
Saranda comes from a customer service operations background. With over 10 years of experience gained from Elite firms and International Corporate Establishment. She is passionate about promoting team cohesiveness and high-end customer experience. Saranda leads the office management procedures and is the executive assistant to the COO.
Katie has spent the last 6 years helping build early stage technology companies in the accelerator and incubator space. Having worked in cyber security and most recently the adtech space, she is passionate about the benefits of new technology in the world of business by bringing innovation to the forefront. Katie wants to empower entrepreneurs by giving them the tools and support they need in order to grow and develop their businesses and is a continued advocate for Women in Tech, supporting multiple organisations in this space. Katie’s role at Qadre is to lead the development of the innovation hub, helping more startups to harness new technologies.
Tazz has many years of experience working with big corporates through to innovative startups, focusing on brand, commercial and marketing strategy. Having most recently worked in the accelerator space, she's supported and mentored hundreds of early stage companies from seed through to Series A and beyond. Originally a journalist, you'll now spot her delivering tech talks on marketing, growth and innovation. Tazz's focus at Qadre is to lead the innovation hub, with her focus on brand, strategy and marketing.
